FKK imitation chocolate coating
super grade
Our FKK imitation chocolate coating super grade has a deep brown color and an intense cocoa flavor due to its very high cocoa content. It is very easy to process and has a beautiful shine.
OUR NUTTY ONE
FH hazelnut compound coating
Our hazelnut compound FH coating has an intense flavor of premium, finely ground, and roasted hazelnut kernels. The coating contains no cocoa and is slightly softer than the cocoa coatings, as the high hazelnut content also introduces a significant amount of oil. The color is similar to the light hazelnut praline NNh, and it has an excellent gloss.
EXTRA FOR ICE CREAM
CFB Eis-Pik

Specifically for ice cream, we developed our brown Eis-Pik CFB, a cocoa-based coating with coconut fat and a low melting point (approx. 28°C). It is used for dipping portioned ice cream and is ideal for stracciatella ice cream.

How are compound coatings produced?
Cocoa-containing coatings are made from cacao powder, partially hydrogenated edible fat, and sugar. They serve as a cost-effective and easy-to-process alternative to couverture and chocolate. For use, they are melted at 40°C to 50°C and then used for coating at a temperature of approx. 38°C to 40°C, just above the melting point.
Do cocoa-containing coatings need to be labelled?
Due to the risk of confusion with cocoa-containing coatings, the product name of items made with them generally must indicate that the coating consists of cocoa coating. Cocoa-free compound coatings (such as FH) does not require any special labelling on the product.
How should I store compound coatings properly?
The products should be stored in a cool place at max. 18°C, in the dark and dry, with a relative humidity of max. 60 %.
