FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions
How is macaroon paste made?
Macaroon paste is made by mixing, for example, one kilogram of base paste, one kilogram of granulated sugar, and about 360 grams of egg white. Flour or icing sugar must not be added. Piped onto baking trays, the macaroons are baked at approx. 180°C to 200°C.
Is the macaroon paste ready to bake?
Our almond macaroon paste MB and persipan macaroon paste PB are both ready to bake.
How do I store macaroon paste properly?
The products should be stored in a cool place at max. 18°C, in the dark and dry, with a relative humidity of max. 60 %.
